That licensing deal that GTCB signed with ProGenetics not too long ago (Dec 2007) is beginning to pay off already...

They licensed factors VIII and IX as well as fibrinogen for North America, Europe and Japan for a total cost of about $1 Million and, in return, they ended up with an equity stake in Progenetics + now they got $550,000 for licensing only fibrinogen to Pharnming + they get royalties from sales!!!

This revolving door licensing deal was a pretty savy financial adventure by GTCB...

If they keep this up, there will not be a need for additional financing going forward...
