#8371 RE: lowman #8368

I doubt my final word on subject.

lowman you said, 'find it very re-assuring when management is able to enlighten me with their own in-depth understandings and knowledges in the industry/sector/field they focus on'.

did you read that? All shareholders deserve that comfort. lowman, your comfort is vital to the success of any business; communication and education of shareholders is great use of corporate time and money. My issue is with how they are doing it.

Why answer your questions? If I ask them questions, do I get the same answers? Can you understand if answer are different, even a little, they legally are jumping in gray water?

Sorry, there is no good reason to leak info to individual shareholders. Let me add that unless they read response from a teleprompter their answers, to individual questions, are going to be different. Those differences open the business to lawsuits.

Not saying it will happen, but there's reasons these old sayings come to be. lowman, theirs many laws governing how they practice their trade. Age doesn't change some laws. Your sharing, what has been told to you by them, is only one of two things--illegal or illegal. What part of it do you see as beneficial to the common shareholder? Comfort aside--I rather you help them show they know how to play the game legally. TIA

Do you think because they do, and others do, that makes it ok? Do you realize that words they speak today can be used against them, depending on state, for 5 years? Why would they take that risk and answer individuals questions personally and not use a shareholder letter, or other means, to discriminate to all shareholders: Thus making it legal. Nothing personal but far more believable too.
