Very aptly said, hydro. One last word about speaking with management, and in my case, bringing it to this board/forum:

I find it very re-assuring when management is able to enlighten me with their own in-depth understandings and knowledges in the industry/sector/field they focus on.

I look for stuttering, stumbling, and 'searching' for words. When I find none of this, then I know these folks are at the top of their game. I know these people are experienced, they are 'in tune', they are 'there with a common mission' to my own.

Searching for words is a bad sign, signaling a 'stepping on eggshells'. While I respect and can appreciate a CEO who uses words selectively, to precautiously prevent from releasing inside information, a CEO should still be able to speak without reservation, if he is truly adept in the company's sincere future, and if that future is not just how it pertains to him alone.
