Do you remember when all the 'know it alls' on this board were screeching "Hillary will be the nominee .. The FIX is in " .. blah blah blah ... over and over again .. well .. what I say is - You are right ..!!!

plus, we are going to be bombarded with the type of article (linked below) about McCain's time as a prisoner. One cannot read about his time there without a certain degree of awe, even though he was a playboy, a mediocre pilot, etc.
His time in prison is something that he amazingly doesn't refer to more, as it makes John F. Kennedy's PT-109 stuff pale by comparison. The Bush machine shut it down cold, but obama will have a hard time when the patriot drum starts getting beat in 4/4 time. The media shapes popular opinion like an ice sculpture being worked on with a hot chainsaw.

I wish the guy would just say, hey, i understand war, i don't like it, and i will take our troops home. If he did that, he would become president so fast that they would probably hold early elections and have a mass wake for the republican far right chicken hawks right on the white house lawn. But he ain't gonna do that, so getting my vote probably can't happen. I have not yet seen anything that tells me not to vote against him just on the war and the other insane bush holdover planks in the platform. But the bastard deserves respect even if he doesn't warrant your vote.
