Lets say for example that you owned a company. In the course of business, you deal with other companies.

Even though one of these companies had nothing in common with the type of business you were in, you paid them as "consultants". In fact, you paid them quite handsomely.

Now it comes to light that this company you dealt with gets exposed as doing things that weren't quite considered "above board". That they helped other companies with scams that helped defraud shareholders.

Are you saying that your company wouldn't for a moment be considered as being part of such a scheme, even though there was no real evidence that could prove it? Not for a minute?

There is always doubt.

I remember when that race car deal went down and I wondered how in the world (and why) Globetel could have/would have ever hooked up with them. I didn't see one single advantage in the relationship but there it was.

Now I think that even though no one can apparently prove it, there is now a reason for explaining it.

All my opinion.
