Steve, Glad I was able to get a chuckle out of you. If I think of any more, I'll post some more humor. Like the one about the hedge fund manager who said, "Well, at least we outperformed the VIX last year."

Like I said, I am not really gold savvy because I don't really understand all of the forces that drive it, but I just looked at the $XAU using my bag of tricks and I don't see anything bullish over there.

What's your ideal setup for entries and exits in the gold funds/stocks?

I haven't traded the funds, but as you know I watch and trade NEM short term. I've done one day trade today, that early AM run, for an above average for me, 0.81 pts. using 1, 2 and 5 min charts, mostly the 2.

I was away so I missed the NEM move that started about 11:45!

It seems NEM is pretty close to $XAU.
