Doma- No one will respond to this post...
..at least with anything bordering on debate. It seems some people either believe it's hurting the company to acknowledge that SKS has just NOT learned from his mistakes of the past (a VERY dangerous trait, IMO), or they have other information that they can't share, and yet base opinion on same.
All the words alea has written on the matter COULD be swept away in an instant by the right announcement. But hasn't that ALWAYS been the carrot? Truth of the matter is, this ragtag bunch of intellectuals, business people, and ordinary Joe's is really here as a testament to SKS' ability to continue to sell the dream, while at the same time pushing it forward in a Machievellian manner that would make ole' Niccolo proud.
All the while we've been here waiting, 100's of other stocks have gone on to do what we are STILL hoping Wave can. It's an odd new kind of co-dependency that would not have been possible 15 years ago. I just hope the collective, admirable stubbornness pays off for us, and is not just a prime example of humans unwilling to give up the ghost.
