MNTA – I think you’ve gone off the track by inferring that identifying the contaminant in contaminated heparin is a problem of comparable difficulty to characterizing all of the constituents in Lovenox. In fact, the latter is harder by several orders of magnitude!
I agree with your contention that, working from the newly published materials, solving the contaminated-heparin problem is not immensely challenging. However, it does not follow that the recent publications have made characterizing Lovenox any easier.
