#444 RE: herdround #442

herdround,
I don't like alot of things that have been said and not come about like they are suppose to. I have voiced my displeasure with management and others on this board as well. FWIW, I am a stickler on details no matter how small and it bothers me when things don't get done. I have run my own business for 25 years and have found I cannot and have not met everything I thought could be delivered for many reasons.
To use the word lie would mean you have some kind of proof that HUFF INTENTIONALLY mislead investors. You do not have proof of that so those kind of statements are out of line and have no value at all. Discussions are one thing, those kind of statements will only draw anger and a pis*sing match of responses which leads NOWHERE! Please refrain from that..rock

herdhound

Get the facts before you accuse someone of lying. He stated that was a goal and later in answer to emails sent regarding that the company admitted that they had become overextended in acquiring new business for those same shareholders that were asking this same question. This fact has been addressed many time on RB as you well know. They also added that this was high on their agenda to impliment.

In one of your previous posts (429) you stated that we have to have many prs to see an increase in revenue. In post #433 and again in 435 you state that without many or a "ton" of pr's we will never see an increase in revenue. You logic is faulty in this respect..Press Releases do not produce revenue.
This is fact. Revenue is produced by the sale of a product, or a service. A p/r is ofen the result of a contract, a new service anouncement, an expansion of existing business, the introduction of a new product etc. The pr itself does not produce revenue....it does however have impact upon pps.

I never said you were bashing. (But, repeatedly saying the same thing over and over makes one wonder.) Absolutely the good and the bad should be discussed here. And it is! I've seen many comments on the downsides of where we're at. And they're discussed and then they move on.

But, while some, including me, aren't as upset as you are about the lack of PR's, and info (meetings, ATC, etc..) it does get on our patience as well.

Bottom line, there is a LOT more potential in this company than many can imagine. And many people know that. and are patiently, although, with no nails left to chew off, waiting. That's all we can do.

I believe, once we get past the next couple of weeks, we'll be seeing a lot more of what we want with the PR folks, and other things coming together. Don't you think it's been kind of a "crunch" with the trips, moves, funding, building, buying????'

Give em a chance to catch up. It will be very rewarding and then we'll see how good that are at keeping investors informed.

herdround, I disagree with you when you say

"This is not bashing". herdround, when you say "why did Huff flat out LIE in his Dec letter about shareholder meetings" to me, that is bashing. I do not agree that Mr. Huff lied. I will only say that what he said did not happen. That is not a lie. To lie means that you said something that you knew at the time you said it was not true. You see what Mr. Huff said as a lie while I see what he said as something that did not happen but the reason it didn't happen I don't know. Perhaps he is to busy growing the company. Perhaps circumstances changed and for business reasons the meeting(s) have been postponed. I don't know.

But one thing I do know. When a basher talks about it they say Mr. Huff lied, when a long talks about it they say they don't know why it didn't happen but give the benefit of the doubt to management.

herdround, you have accused Mr. Huff (management) of intentionally lying to you which means that you have no faith in GTEL/management. My suggestion to you is that you immediately sell your shares and move on as no honest person would remain invested in a company where they have no faith in management.

herdround, I believe you are bashing.

IMHO
