"** ADCS - 260 million shares traded in last 3 days
and the price moved 0.0001.

And the entire float is < 250 million.

I hope I'm very wrong. But if you believe the above...there is a problem..."

It would only be a problem if all of that volume was all buys and no sells. I suppose this "formula" leaves that aspect out?

look at an intraday chart and you will understand much more. lots of up and down movement and not nearly as simple as volume and no movement as you are framing it, but rather huge swings from 0015 to 0038. those are 150% swings.
i believe it is either huge amount of flipping, large traders trying to accumulate , or mms short and trying to shake out shares.
i have also been watching the tape and NITE could very well be quite short here and scottrade's restricting online trading late friday afternoon seems to confirm this.

ever heard of percentages when making assumptions about price fluctuations?

Price moved 100 dollars. What does that say to you? Might seem a lot, but really, is it? What if the PPS was 100000000 dollars?

And actually, let's be honest, there is not even a formula, is there? I really hope there isn't because if there really is, wow, 'the makers' still have A LOT of work to do fine tuning it because it is so out of line they should be ashamed of applying it already and making these meaningless results public.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, a price fluctution of 0.001 USD on a 0.002 USD stock would mean a fluctuation of 50%. Ever checked how much volume of the entire float get's traded say on a stock quoted on the NYSE when it makes a fluctation of 50%? Yes indeed, it is a lot huh! ;-)
