look at an intraday chart and you will understand much more. lots of up and down movement and not nearly as simple as volume and no movement as you are framing it, but rather huge swings from 0015 to 0038. those are 150% swings. i believe it is either huge amount of flipping, large traders trying to accumulate , or mms short and trying to shake out shares. i have also been watching the tape and NITE could very well be quite short here and scottrade's restricting online trading late friday afternoon seems to confirm this.
