I activated WinAmp from my new WinXP pc and after telling ZA
that its o.k. to allow this web site to pass the firewall
WinAmp asked me if I wanted to upgrade to 5.03a.

Don't know if your mention of 5.03 was 5.03a.

Anyway, for some reason I hit an oops I hit on another upgrade,
in that it uses Netscape to download stuff rather than IE,
and I get that error on Activation of sandwhich I have not
yet read the F'n Manual :o) on Netscape eventhought I have used
the Netscape myself o.k. after ignoring that error.

My WinAmp did execute o.k. but I didn't run it, but I did see
a revision number 2.75 at the screen's bottom. Don't make sense
that the loaded version is that old since my eMachines was loaded
with latest software like AOL 9.0. But it just highlights that
those preloaded software packages should be doubled checked against
the web site they came from for updates and fixes.
