Really, it's no news. The guy has a great track record but he's now a career director. This isn't his first or only BoD position. His history of M&A is meaningless if PTSC doesn't come up with a revenue stream and his history in tech is worthless if the portfolio is a weak as recents payments would have us believe.
Bringing product to market is another skill that doesn't have much value since PSTC's only product is old inventory. Holocom seems to be doing ok but they're peanuts.
It's not bad news but it's really not great either. Just another head for quorum and more compensation to hand out.
What is limiting PTSC isn't lack of brainpower or direction. At least that's not the bottleneck at the moment. It's the uncertainty of the strength of the patent portfolio, the terms of past and future licensing, and the patent office review.
