Well, it isn't David, but . . . it is "Davies." There is a mortgage recorded with the York County Register of Deeds dated 8/18/92 where Sidney D. Cook and Timothy H. Cook (then V.P.) signed a mortgage on behalf of Flotation Technologies.
Also, PeopleFinders.com only list one Sidney D. Cook (for that matter only one Sidney Cook) in Maine and it shows associated names for him of David Cook and Dave D. Cook with Timothy H. Cook and Constance J. Cook listed among possible relatives (Constance is on numerous recorded documents with Sidney).
So, IMO, Sidney Davies Cook is Flotec's "David Cook" and he appears to have been quite the flotation wizard.
