My source shows 202 new NYSE lows for today after it's first triple digit number from yesterday. This was the first triple digit number since March 2003...

Hard to read right now, but if we go back to similar set-ups (expanding new lows) then we could be in for a rough couple of weeks...

Need to see if it's just the financials breaking down, or will everything else follow???

imo it isnt. there were 113 yesterday and 160 on monday for nya. the internals were lousy on back to back days in the nya. see this stat a buddy of mine pulled together for me on the spx

Couldn't find one instance of a day like this in the last 40 years. Set parameters as nyse decliners over advancers by 3 or more to 1, and an s&p loss of 2/10 of 1% or anywhere above (ie, flat to up). Not a single one turned up. 519 instances of 3 to 1 decliners over advancers, every one had a s&p loss of more than 0.2%. Except this one.
