Fung: I disagree about the equipment part. I've been in the business more years than I care to count, and I know of no diamond exploration company that owns it's own equipment (especially drills). It is not cost effective and takes away from the exploration company's main focus. Ultimately it will make drilling more expensive. In fact, once the driller's wages, drilling muds, water truck, casing, etc. etc etc. are all factored in, CMKX will find out that it would have been cheaper to contract it out.
Not to knock CMKX...it was an interesting experiment. And maybe they can sell the drill for a profit if it comes down to that. I'm just saying that if an exploration company could make money owning it's own drills, there would be somebody doing it.
