If they do a merger watch for a merger with a company that has alot of equipment or alot of cash which could be used to buy equipment. With the # of acres of mineral claims that they own, equipment has to be the #1 priority at this point.
IMO if they're going to do a merger they will annouce it at the same time as the drilling results (thus explaining the reason for the merger).
e.g. they would annouce a press release stating that they recovered xx karate diamonds from the drilling and are acquiring xx company which owns # of drilling rigs which will start drilling at xx location.
An acquisition(merger) into cmkx would also explain the increase in a/s as shares would need to be paid to the company and shareholders which cmkx was acquiring. I do agree with the previous post about the name of the car and the future of the company. I don't believe that the company would have lasted this long if UC was that short sighted.
IMO UC past moves are starting to come together and at least to me are making alot more sense now
