One must remember as well, that at the time of these malfeasances, there were multiple independently operated wholly owned subsidiaries in existence.

Might they have indeed had their own banking arrangements for deposits and withdrawals as well?

I suggest an opine that the soon to be disclosed updated financials will clarify this and save you all from guessing.

They did whatever it took to be sure things were run right. That's why they're called "audit" committees! Of course this was a "real" company, with customers and revenues and products and profits. It wasn't a small "SCAM" company!
