Though I am working in Austin, TX since October(a very over-rated city IMO), the Minnesota winter has been very long this year, more typical of the winters I grew up in.

Last Sunday, my son told me they got 8" of snow, "heart-attack" snow they call it, heavy and wet.

Cabin fever can start any time from January onwards, but late March with snow always brings it on, even if the hapless Twins started their season indoors.

In 2010, the Twins play in a new outdoor stadium with no roof. I was intrigued with the fact the Twins averaged 4 inclement rain-outs per year when they played in the old roofless Met Stadium. Now if they could use some of that stadium money for some good hitters.....
