Not many, and not nearly enough to keep them from risking the next scam. And most of them either was high profile or stupid. Like Altomare who may go to jail. If he would have quit his illegal acts the first time the SEC stepped in, he probably would even still be CEO. But rather after the SEC told him to stop he dumped even more shares. they step in again and he dumps more. They bring action against him so what does he do. Dumps more. He should have been locked up the first time. And the sad thing he is only going to jail for contempt. Not for stealing from his shareholders.
