#5565 RE: DewDiligence #5563

<<Most investors will not realize that the chance of a successful final analysis given a failed interim analysis is considerably less under the new SPA than under the old SPA.>>

That´s a very misleading interpretation. Most investors realize that the power of the final analysis has been reduced marginally but at the same time the odds of a successful interim look have improved dramatically. Who cares about the final anymore if the interim was elevated to almost the same power? If Provenge works, it will most likely be stat sig on the interim. If not, DNDN is in a deep trouble. Most investors who believe that Provenge works, will place their bets on the interim rather than on the final.

" trumpet the relatively short time interval between the interim and final analyses hook to keep investors from bailing en masse"

This doesn't make sense. If IMPACT trial were to fail, the company would go bankrupt. If Gold indeed was devising a scam which would come to light sooner or later, why not delay the final for as long as possible? Since DNDN already has 130 million dollar Azimuth credit line to tap into that will last till 2010, wouldn't you say, Dew, your conspiracy theory is just a crooked one?
