How do you know he's a good inventor? All the information about his great invention was fielded by him. When he did talk about the characteristics, he lied or made apples-to-oranges comparisons. Why would you think he would fib about absolutely everything else but somehow not make any misleading comments about pyrolysis oil?
The only thing validated by AmSpec is that mixing 1% of Mr. Rivera's pyrolysis oil into 100% pure fuel creates a fuel which is 99% pure and almost passes the minimum specifications for a fuel (it missed the maximum allowed ash specification).
