YHOO the big one through earnings. Play by Play action (like the other big ones RIMM TASR were played to the cusp) Ironically today was the first day we shorted YHOO but will be looking for some good straddle/strangle for a potential 5 plus move. In what direction? You shouldn't really care as long as you are "covered" for both eventualities and we will be. IBM and INTC gorgeous one day after the strangle/straddle in place. Looking for more pullbacks in these giants also. Like a baseball lineup, everyone to their places and let the games begin!
MAGS and CDCY up after hours, TASR down (only 40 people killed not bad). Featured in tomorrow's IBD so I'd polish off the puts and calls. Not much left of either but we'll see tomorrow. Hope everyone took profits, its a lot of money (risky) after the stock was up 18% in one session.
'TASER romped 13.75 to 92.25 on the heaviest upside volume in nearly 2 months. The stun gun maker said it would split its stock 2-1 to lower its price and increase liquidity. It also refutted a CBS Evening News Report that said 40 people have died after being stunned with TASER weapons by police. Its Accumulation/Distribution Rating is a best possible A+.'
KLAC, INTC, YHOO or NTES (all short swings) should do well for short/put players. We have some alternative plays for tomorrow both long and short. We do expect a multi-day short/put play in ESIO and others. KLAC puts will very likely move well after being sucked under water for a few days. INTC puts and INTC short (just entered a strangle yesterday and INTC short triggered already today) YHOO short as well. Today was the first day we actually got the YHOO short and now traders will be surprised at the way we plan to strategize this play tomorrow and through the report. On Tuesday there was no reason to buy any calls or go long but just part I, the short/put play.
