RR voted for Harry Truman and admired FDR - then he dragged this country to the far right...the rest is history.

By 1941 Reagan was an informant working for the FBI. He supported Nixon in 1950 and campaigned for Eisenhower in 1952. Reagan didn't register Republican until 1962.

I don't think he was ever anything more than a mole for corporate and government interests operating inside Hollywood's trade unions to undermine the political power and potential economic advance of working class families.
