Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is an A/W request, is it not? So that means 50 million shares that were registered in November/February (S/B-2 in Nov. and S/1-A in Feb.) and "would/could" have been sold are now off the market, right? Or, is an A/W form some kind of arcane finance speak for "thar she blows"?

Yes, I have left CoroWare and taken a position with Microsoft. I still hold all my shares (of course, I lost any options when I left).

The reasons for leaving are pretty straightforward. I would say firstly that after 11 years in Microsoft I found that I missed that culture pretty badly. In some ways, I was a poor fit for CoroWare. What they needed doing wasn't what I was best at or passionate about.

I also found that although I was an entrepreneur when I joined MS, I see that my true passion is purely in software engineering and I just have the wrong temperment and motivation when it comes to trying to run a business division, which is what CoroWare needed me to do here in Europe.

So, after literally months of discussion with Lloyd and others, I decided to join Microsoft Research Ltd in Cambridge UK, where I had a fantastic opportunity available - one that seems to perfectly match my passion and which brings me back to my core competencies.

Because CoroWare is a vendor to Microsoft, I am limited in how I can interact with CoroWare, but I still count them all among my close friends. I continue to hold the stock and wish them the best and I will support them to the very limits of my legal and ethical commitments.

I have re-upped my subscription here and will continue dropping in on the board now and then in spite of a signal-to-noise ratio that seems to have plummetted way further and faster than the stock value. But I'm an optimist and continue to hope for the sudden onset of rational discourse here. Irrational exuberence and character assassination has to run its course at some point, doesn't it? Google searches plus inuendo and supposition are not due (necessary and sufficient) diligence (conscientious; careful and persistent effort).

Anyway - thanks for asking.
