I haven't gotten up to speed on the whole affair, but I heard from my daughter that Spitzer was dumb enough to make it a Federal crime by bringing the girl across state lines.
Thats what I see as the problem. If it was a simple morality issue where he had an affair then I would say leave the guy alone. He without sin cast the first stone.
But the problem is the fact that he broke the law and he was involved in prosecuting prostitution in the past. What a hypocrite. One of the problems that I have with characters like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly. It isn't that they did something wrong but how they went after people that they turned out to be themselves.
