I'm suspecting that unfortunately MNTY is accepting the long delay in construction as an offset to a lower rent contract, imho.

NOT that I agree with that, but it is appearing to be the case here.

As the posts on this board from myself and others who have either been involved with or have actually done construction for retail companies, there really is not any other reason for such a long delay unless it might mean a better lease contract.

Just speculating.

The pictures we've seen of the Altus InVogue store did not appear that it would be this long before the store was open, yet that also still is delayed. Perhaps they negotiated an April 1 date to open the Altus InVogue Store? Perhaps the Market99 stores in Mesquite and Lakeland have similar delayed START LEASE agreements which subsequently is allowing the landlord/s so much "extra time"?
