#8367 RE: jessellivermore #8364

The below is from the 2006 Annual Report. Is Genzyme the potential partner GTCB is currently negotiating with based on the below? Tia

"Our ability to negotiate with potential marketing partners may be limited.

If we choose to commercialize ATryn® with an additional marketing partner outside of Asia, Genzyme Corporation has an exclusive first right of negotiation for commercialization rights. This right is triggered on an indication-by-indication basis at such time as we apply for marketing approval with a regulatory
authority. This right does not apply if we have already entered into a collaboration or other agreement with a prospective research, development and marketing partner prior to such regulatory submission. For example, the right also does not apply to commercialization rights in Europe, Canada or the Middle East
for any indication because those rights are subject to our licensing and supply agreement entered into with LEO Pharma in October 2005. "

Jesse, They admit enrollment is slower than anticipated so I don't know about your timeline. Maybe the stock offering was to bring on more sites faster since the money clock is ticking and DIC indication is very important to GTCB.

>>GTCBs yearly burn rate is estimated at around 28mil/year<<

Seems a little light. more like 32

>>The recent acquisition of 7mil via share float actually provides about one quarter's running costs.<<

Wasn't this only 5.5?

>>Estimated revenue from H AT3 in Europe is in the range of 7mil and might be more<<

I remember 5mil being tossed around.

>>This total is enough to get them till the begining of 2009<<

I think this is way off.

I think we need a partnership/milestones of at least 10mil this year and then, although we won't be completely out of cash, we will still need more financing to avoid a "going concern" from the auditors.

We have some tough sledding to do in the financing field IMO. Hope I am wrong.

I tend to agree with you. Do you think that GTCB should slow the burn rate to kind of hibernate a little until DIC results from Phase II are available? This might help reduce dilution if there are any delays.
