SURE,BUT IT'S A DEEPLY ENTRENCHED BUREAUCRACY AFFILIATED WITH SOME OF THE MOST POWERFUL PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.....
With the electronics of today , we don't need them...In fact the NASDAQ is doing nicely without them...Why do you suppose that a seat on the NY EXCHANGE cost somewhere in the neighborhood of one million dollars.....(my recolection from a news broadcast some weeks ago)......
