#316944 RE: PegnVA #316942

"Don't forget 57 US Senators voted against The Decider's plan to invade Iraq - 57 out of 100 US Senators knew The Decider did not have enough "evidence" to prove his claim. One US Senator who voted WITH The Decider now seems to regret it and has tried many times to explain why she voted with The Decider."

Well, that's very interesting indeed. Can you provide a link to an article that confirms your statement, or is this just another spurious byproduct of your partisan imagination?

that would be this resolution -- under the dem senate leadership ???

http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/bliraqreshouse.htm

This was the essence of the case for pre-emption; it prevailed not only within the administration but by votes of 77-23 in the U.S. Senate and 296-133 in the House

where do you get the 57 number ? i thought the vote was overwhelmingly in support of war as a last resort.. but most thought he wouldnt go that far.. but they were fooled... or feign they were fooled..i think it was obvious war was the goal in late 2002 up to the actual invasion.

"Plans were in place BEFORE 911 to invade Iraq and all this admin needed was an excuse", Got links to these facts?

Your voting count seems in error as well..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_Resolution

I see 77 of 100 Senators voted in favor of the resolution...

Where do you get your obvious errant numbers from?

Poor Peg, I see you have been nailed yet once again...

Very likely you will neither admit or explain your obvious errors.
