the finished BC Latcher we saw must have been the prototype and the 3 silver shells we saw (i cant find a pic but i bet Sulphur posted one) are the 3 just shipped.

"Once the full-scale prototype testing is complete by the end of this year, the actual production umbilicals will be built in early 2008 and installed when field construction gets underway by offshore equipment installer Subsea 7.

Driver and von Tungeln are both excited at what this project means for both the BC-10 Consortium and other deepwater developments. “I see more orders coming for these types of large umbilicals,” Driver said. “This is only the beginning for this particular field, and more developments will be coming on line in that area in the coming years.”
