LOL, how many people do you think can afford 8GB of memory in a home PC? Home PCs have 4 DIMM slots, max, which would require 2GB DIMMs. Here is the only place on Pricewatch that I could find a 2GB module that was not a kit of 2x 1GB modules.

It will take years to get the price of these modules down to a reasonable level. I wonder what percent of the market even has 1GB of memory in their systems?? I bet it isn't even very much.
