I've copied a number of the vbx and dll files that I believe Newport requires into a zip file that you can download at

http://www.jfholdings.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/np_vb.zip

Open the zip and see if you've got the same name files already in your windows system (or system32) directories [usually the full path is something like c:\windows\system]

If not then you'll need to locate and download the same named files from a source that you trust (or if you have sufficient faith in me then you could use the ones in the zip file, but be warned I'll accept no responsibility if things go wrong).

It sounds like you no longer have the "install" diskette for Newport. Most of these files are created when we do the install.

VBRUN300.DLL belongs in the c:\windows\system file also.
