Dunno about the relevance of the BOD, meaning would different leadership have changed anything? Highly speculative IMO, given that Wave's vision has always been to implement their vision on the broadest of scales, and that they have always needed industry-wide support to accomplish that. I just don't see any of this happening any sooner without the broad implementation of hardware, now happening. Stop and consider what an odyssey the TCPA has been! All the time and therefore resources that Wave put into that.
The only thing I have ever been able to think is that there was some money making venture, a sideline but profitable activity the company could have had while the "bigger picture" was forming. Is this where leadership at the BOD could have made the difference? Or a very seasoned business-savvy CEO?
I view SKS as something of a Catch22. He initially lacked the experience to make the company first and foremost a self-supporting business, but without his vision, tenacity and grasp of the technology Wave would not have the opportunity they now have.
