LOL, your retorts are pretty funny in the face of AMD's humiliation at the hands of Intel's 45nm products. AMD's product line is SLOW, it's HOT, and no one is willing to pay money for them. Hence, AMD does the only thing they know how to do (because their management is filled with morons). They drop prices.

Dear Pete

AMD took the heat because after running Barfelona in their validation labs, no OEM would use their broken Quad Cores. The same OEMs love Intel's products and don't care a bit about your imaginary crash problem. They validated Intel's products and they don't see a problem. The problem is in your head. The bug too.

I think it is three 45nm Fabs as opposed to two 65nm Fabs. D1D is a development Fab for both processes and really shouldn't be counted as an extra Fab for either. 45nm capacity will be needed for big dies like Nehalem quads/octos and Poulson and seeing as demand keeps growing year by year and they expect to take some unit marketshare from AMD it does not seem indicative of anything else than normal expansion.

Any hardcore AMD fan like yourself should be worried by the Wolfdale binsplits revealed because if they are not followed by lower clocked ones they will make all X2s virtually obsolete except for high clocked 65nm Phenom ones and there not many of those around now !

Dear Peter,

But you have to give me an "A" for effort because at least I tried to comprehend your answer among all the other irrelevant BS you wrote. ;)
