I think it is three 45nm Fabs as opposed to two 65nm Fabs. D1D is a development Fab for both processes and really shouldn't be counted as an extra Fab for either. 45nm capacity will be needed for big dies like Nehalem quads/octos and Poulson and seeing as demand keeps growing year by year and they expect to take some unit marketshare from AMD it does not seem indicative of anything else than normal expansion.

Any hardcore AMD fan like yourself should be worried by the Wolfdale binsplits revealed because if they are not followed by lower clocked ones they will make all X2s virtually obsolete except for high clocked 65nm Phenom ones and there not many of those around now !
