I am expecting a settlement. I don't see the beneifits to PXD tp push this along the legal docket. It may be that the new trustee sees just such an advantage and will not accept a settlment that leaves to much cash potential unshared.
If this case is extended, IMO, it will be extended because the MOSH trustee wants more than what is offerred and not because an offer is not tended. So what is fair.
It would really be nice to have an alternate deepwater partner and pay off PXD and get the leases back. That would be the best of all worlds. If I was MOSH, I would not in any way maintain any kind of business relationship with PXD. Whatever this settlement is, it should terminate the relationship with PXD. Instead of MOSH taking a cash settlement. Give some cash to PXD and send them packing. If not, from what I read, I wouldn't take a nickel less than the 1.2 billion. JMO.
