No....adapt and listen to what the market is telling you. Targets are probabilities and nothing is a true line in the sand until you get confirmation. That means you can miss targets and the big picture doesn't change. When that happens, you have to look to understand why.
When a target support level breaks, you need to have the technicals behind it to support failure. In this case, proposed support broke yet the technicals are moving further into a bullish reversal. If anything, upper targets need to be reduced, but even that may still be set based on some of the pattern parameters.
I have a full outlined chart and some key data to support what I am proposing. It's not something I am pulling out of thin air. If the pattern fails completely, I'll post an explanation but until then, the material is largely proprietary.
