remember when the term for woman who stressed out was "she had a nervous breakdown" and it was usually said in a hushed voice... just like it was when someone was diagnosed with cancer... as though it was something to be shunned for. actually people were shunned when they had cancer as it was thought back then, that it was a virus and easily spread...i knew an old italian lady who wouldnt kiss her husband anymore after he was diagnosed with cancer in the late 60's...
