I have posted many times that the 2G licensees of IDCC who have substantial CDMA sales have yet to upgrade their license to 3G..Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Sanyo, and Toshiba come to mind..Fujitsu is a complete hold out for IDCC..I believe they are all waiting for Nokia to come to market with CDMA20001X EVDV..and establish a new 3G rate with Qualcomm.

Some have also been impressed that IDCC was able to license Ericsson for EDGE technology..which happens to be a "ITU 3G Standard"...
