I believe that statement was made about the music industry in general. It's no secret that the music and movie industries are losing money hand over fist because of illegal downloading. Christmas album sales may not generate much excitement (and we don't know this for sure!), but to consider that statement a forecast of company sales would be stretching it I think. JMO

I have not seen any advertising about the Christmas CD or for the USS NY show coming up. I am just curious how they planned to sell the Christmas CD without any advertising? Word or mouth or someone finding it by accident?

This was my feeling as well. Whatever happened to TriMark? Wasn't that the tool that was supposed to help prevent such piracy? It's unusual that the boss has gone off on a completely different venture, without resolving matters at hand. Such as the illegal shares matter (which has been rehashed too many times). Is the Christmas album getting substantial airplay? And why hasn't there been any update lately on our one and only recording artist? Things just don't add up when we get a report that Gene has bought a service that's supposed to compete with PayPal. I realize that CD sales in general have taken a serious dip nationwide, (other than the Eagles new album), so it would make sense to try something different.

I hope no one brings up that point about "multitasking" again. There's a big difference in multitasking and going off on another wild goose chase.
