LOL.....then arrogant is what I must be. Religion is superstition that divides the mind into what is and what is written. The two are at odds and that creates confusion and forces a choice to the extremes. Life is sweetest in the middle.

To claim religion's deserving of respect because it's been around for 2000 yrs is a false argument. War has been around much longer than that......that doesn't make it desirable. Yes, you can look at the teachings. There are many thought provoking ideas there. But you must also look at how it works out in reality. Christianity, Islam and Judaism have been a disaster in terms of the misery and suffering they've brought to each other and anyone else in arm's reach. You can get family values elsewhere....ya don't need these religions to tell ya what's right and what's wrong. Especially, sky god religions.

I've been a Democrat 'cause I'm a workin stiff. Since 911, when the Dems just caved in, since they signed off on stealing my rights, since knowin that not one of my tax dollars is going to pay for services, since watching the effects of NAFTA, I've come to realize the Dems just have a different way of stealing my money. And when it comes to Iraq, they are complicit. I've walked away from them.

It's been said here at least a few times, lol, that neither party represents the peoples interest. Bush and Cheney are the figureheads, so naturally they're going to be the focus of resentment. So please don't confuse that with partisanship. The neocons are NOT Republicans. We are in deep doodoo and we've got to come together.
