Like, you and lxcimi aren't partisans? While I have engaged a few posters who have claimed to be agnostics, I have never denigrated anyone's belief as youd do with your signature line.

You may not find the teachings of someone who lived thousands of years ago believable, but it would seem, you, at least would have some respect for any system that could survive that long. Try forming a club, secret society, nation, or language, for that matter, and have it exist for two thousand years. If we consider Judaism, we are looking at a belief system of even further antiquity. I'm a universalist (not the denomination of that name), I have an interest and respect in all of the religions of the world, both existing, and those which served extinct peoples. But Christianity does have, it appears to me, a unique history. It's genesis was not from a ruling class, and it existed for centuries with no military force to protect it, nor to extend it's reach. It didn't achieve establishment status until Constantine. So you may be turned off by bible thumpers, I'm not always a fan of them either, but I consider it extreme arrogance to denigrate their beliefs.
