GOLDENBOLLOX,

Well nino, I think it's really starting to make prefect sense (IMO it has all along):

Mark initiates a contract with Javelin (Peacock) who also brings in Gemini (Beyer)

Mark does a financing with Compass Capital.

Mark does a financing with Cherry Creek Holdings (Traveller - Peacock's buddy)

Mark does many CD financings with various offshore entities, some of them friends of Peacock, subsequently adjudged defaults in the Florida Court for pennies on the dollar in new shares which has diluted the snot out of Unico.

Common denominator ------ Mark Lopez. He obviously does NOT and never has had the shareholder interests at the forefront.

Additional common denominator --- Peacock

Are the two linked?????????

Now read my posts #10820 and 10826.

You guys definitely need legal representation -- probably class action -- to stop this RS and also to throw Lopez out for malfeasance --- and maybe get these outstanding CD's renegotiated.

Just voting NO will not do it.

1. If this mill is not running by time we are voting that is the first major red flag. Why is Unico hiring mappers and geos and not concentrating resources to use for mill commencement.

2. Interesting how the voting goes. We have seen a very liquid market for this stock. How do the preferred shares get to vote?

3. The lack of promotion for this stock also sets off a red flag.

4. No doubt as a trader Mark has been in on something. Why not profit from the way down first? The insider buyings by Ray Brown where just part of the scheme to trick investors.

5. If somebody wants control of this speculation now is the time to act and veto the R/S. Get control for about 3 million.

GOLDENBOLLOX

It is unfortunately looking fishy that Unico is not promoting a vote for the RS. Twice in 2005 they did not have enough votes to hold a meeting and had to hire a firm to seek them.

Here we are in 2007 and no urge to vote yet.

I was doing some reading and they mentioned that you could borrow shares and vote them. Hope that is not happening here.

I have a question and need an answer !!

Anyone but DERB, please answer this question!

Is it possible that Mark, filed this document about the R/S for the simple reason (to scare the shorts away) but to never actually do the reverse. This is why he has not stated anything about it or the vote in a PR.

Is it also possible that production on that 800,000 tons of raw material has been started and he has not disclosed that in a PR as well (because of the timing, and shorting)? A G

The problem is that you have an investment broker running a company which in nature is diametrically polar to every corporate strategy he is used to.

At some point he will have to realize Unico cannot be a self contained bona fide mining company.

They are by nature an exploration company with some additional revenue stream available through the processing of ore..

Without JV money this project comes to a hault period!

If Ray Brown doesn't bring a mining guy in here SOON to correct the obvious we might have a disaster in the makings.

I think Mark Lopez fails to see the whole picture as to how a mining exploration operation needs to be run.

I don't fault him for trying, I just fault him for taking on a responsibility for which he is in over his head.

This company needs a clear leader with vision and great administrative qualities who knows about this industry.

It almost appears to me is that he is an executor to the estate of Mr. Brown.

Golden, if it's B, i.e., a snowball's chance in hell of getting the vote passed, why are they bothering?

Tell me, the reasons you've described for being so optimistic...do any of them still hold?
