The proof lies in the fact that they're not doing anything to actually show, demo or sell the product. Everything they have is either experimental or exists in brochures that do not show the product. Even in the safety conference ST said there was nothing to sell.
If you are a marketer to sell something, wouldn't you do marketing 101 - show the product?
Instead, they leave up 3-4 year old pictures of outdated GPS boxes, and use stock photos and concept art for their products.
