Gap 'n Crap today 2-trend day (usually we get that trade with SNDK so we are very familiar with the strategy) Some new buys off support easily as techs drop (after short the morning highs) and typically have a partial 11:00 recovery, and now the ones we are watching have taken out the next resistance of the 20 ma on the 5 minute chart. HPQ is one of our longs here and its doing better since it HASN'T reported yet so there is no gap up to short! Nothing to get stopped out of, because in "anticipatory Upswing" is where the move lies, and in cycle III (the gap play intraday)... all we do is hold options (straddles & strangles) through the report so as not expose our traders to risky stock trades THROUGH THE REPORT.
Some of the best trades are the gap 'n snap like NTES yesterday and PCLN one of prior longs. OVTI (stalked and posted and emailed) did very well but is in flatline, Still a huge move up with NO RISK whatsoever (beyond the cost of one side of the option play) because we held option calls and a BIG MOVE was expected in both NTES and OVTI.
