Thanks neuro - that's too bad then because I did some research about different scenarios re: IND rejection. Most are because of efficacy and/or actual toxic concern (like a rat/monkey get killed during tox studies). I cannot find a ANYTHING similar to Cortex's case here (i.e. Rejection because of an artifact issue.)

That's very unique situation for sure. Thanks.

I agree neuro, convincing BP, even with a surrogate end point benefit will move Cor out of $1 buyout talk. The fact that PFE is trying to enter a second drug into the AD treatment scheme should keep COR on their radar. A third drug could extend the franchise of the first two.

Given the complexity of AD, multiple drug therapy will be the rule. Even in coronary disease the best statin will only prevent 1/3 of the adverse vascular events and many patients require 5-10 drugs for optimal therapy.

Calls for changing leadership at this late stage would at least be distracting, but more likely counterproductive and costly if implemented. Right now I would be more concerned if Dr. Stoll was responding more to the understandable shareholder frustrations, rather than putting his energy into promoting SP by implementing ampakine development plans with Dr Tran.
