atheroprevent - I disagree that Dr. Stoll's communications with shareholders is taking time away from more serious work.
E.g. his blackberry reply today likely took a couple minutes. His reply was then conveyed here where likely a sizable % of COR investors will read it by the time the weekend is over. That's actually a pretty efficient use of a couple moments of his time.
I get lots of daily emails at my job, it becomes 2nd nature to respond to them and move on. And sometimes the act of responding to them triggers thoughts of value.
I find it beyond ironic that one of the greatest complaints BY FAR that I see on msg boards about biotechs is the non-responsiveness of mgmt.
We are literally blessed IMO to have a CEO that places a high value on shareholder communication, and quite honestly that communication history has added to my inclination to invest in Cortex.
All other things being relatively equal, given a choice between investing in a company that communicates well and shows recognition of shareholder concerns vs. the opposite, I think most people would choose the company that communicates.
