Ombow - thanks for that email and response, your questions were a lot more direct than I would have written, but I'm glad you cut to the chase, since Dr. Stoll's reply was equally straight forward. I'm sure Dr. Stoll can appreciate the level of concern and interest in the company's plans investors have right now.
Of course he couldn't say anything specific in his reply, so that's not a surprise nor a point to criticize.
It's frustrating that the FDA's reply hasn't arrived yet, but there's nothing to be done about that.
I think as investors, we would do well to remember the numerous times we've gone off of gut reactions and made assumptions concerning a Cortex decision (e.g. the recent financing) only to later find out there were reasons behind it we didn't know and/or didn't properly factor in.
I think it's good for us to discuss possible courses of action for Cortex here because it gets us focussed on the issues and challenges, but we still will not have the information that Cortex mgmt has which is a key ingredient in the plan they will announcing at the CC.
And I agree with Dr. Stoll that we as investors don't possess knowledge about various factors complicating Cortex's decision - we collectively know a lot of things, but I don't think any of us here have experience in running a biotech company like Cortex. Neuro comes the closest in his knowledge of the industry.
I understand your comment in the email about being in denial if still considering ADHD, but I don't believe Cortex mgmt is in denial. Again, we'll find out at the CC when we get to evaluate the company's plans.
Thanks again for that email.
