IDCC has lot of potential (with lot of it being tied in legal battles with Nokia & Samsung and future licence). The acquiring firm never pays you for income stream that is tied up. QCOM as someone mentioned could be playing its part in keeping the shares down. Chances of QCOM trying to bid for anything over $40 sounds remote (I would love them to offer higher). Reason being on paper it looks like 80-90% premium, which in fact is not because:
-Shares have been kept artificially low &
-When you remove the cash/sahre that IDCC already has that premium is even lower.
